                                  TH01  8:30 AM - 5:30 PM                                        Moody by Diane Hamelic $55.00

Moody begins with 2-2 twining with a step up around an oval wooden base.  Transition to continuous twill weave over 2 under 1.  Braiding cord is used in the middle before stacking rows and triple twining with a step up.  Finish your basket by learning how to do a folded rim.  Striking contrast is created between tribal and natural reed.

Woven on a D-handle, students will complete a twined round-based cylinder in natural reed, with over under sides.  Then they will transform it with curls of dyed maple, creating a beautiful flow of color.  Some color choices at class time.

Miniature Coiled Linen Basket by Maria Tinnell $55.00                             

This 6–8-hour class is an introduction/beginner class in creating a miniature coiled linen basket. Participants will have hands-on experience learning how to create a coiled basket, add or change colors, create a pattern, and finish the end. Participants will create a miniature coiled linen basket. You will be able to customize your basket with colors of your choice.
Price includes materials to complete one basket, includes linen thread, nylon cord and tapestry needles. Participants will receive a handout that will include supply sources. Additional materials will be available for purchase after the class if you wish to make other baskets.

Large Apple Basket by Billy Owens $105.00

The Large Apple Basket is made from White Oak trees I personally select and cut and prepare by hand. It is Approx 9” deep excluding the Oak handle, it’s 14” in diameter and has a “woven oak working” bottom. It will be woven over a mold and Everyone should Finish in Class with a piece of Ozark tradition.

Beverage Carrier by Amy Jorgensen $70.00

Starting on a 7” x 7” wood base with a handle attached. Students will triple weave with a step up. Learn to cross stitch over seagrass and a 2 x 2 twill on top. Handle will be finished with a butterfly knot and wood disc to add an initial. Kit includes 4 pint size glasses with an etched basket motif and a wooden divider great for the patio.  Color choices will be in class.

Learn to create waves of color using 8 different jewel tones of dyed flat oval reed on a 10” round slotted wood base.  Students will learn 4 Rod Wale with a step up, continuous twill weave in natural flat oval reed, 2 layers of colorful waves, and finish with a simple folded matchstick rim.

Here Comes the Sun...Flower by Diane Frankenfield $45.00

Learn to make a Sunflower dot mandala on a 5" black base. Students will be taught the dotting techniques used for this design. The basket is a twine with natural and colored round reed and lashed with waxed linen. All supplies for the dot mandala and basket are included.

Old Blue Jean by Diane Hamelic $67.00

**Please note this is a split class.  It starts on Thursday, 10/2 p.m. and finishes on Friday 10/3.**

Old Blue Jean has braided blue jean handles!  Students will begin by twining around a wooden base.  Learn how to 2-2 twine and triple twine with a step up, and attach handles to a lashed rim.  The colors taupe and favorite flannel complement each other well.  Learn how I made the braided handles using old jeans.  Add a blue jean embellishment to your basket - your choice.
