The registration fee is determined by the date your registration is postmarked. Postmarked on or before May 31st, $35; on or before June 30th, $45; and after June 30th, $55. A one-day registration is available for $20 (plus the $15 dues) – but those who sign up for the 1-day registration will not be assigned classes until after early-bird registrants have been allocated their class choices. With each of your 1st choice basket selections, you must send in a check with the teacher’s name, amount for the class, and postdated to day of class. If you do not get your first choice class, the check will be returned with confirmation for what class you received. Send a self-addressed, stamped 4 X 9 envelope with form. If the convention is cancelled because of COVID-19, it will be announced by September 1st. Checks will be returned after that.
Please include a separate check for membership dues of $15. Registration and membership checks should be made out to Kentucky Basket Association.
Cancellation policy: If you must cancel from a specific class or the entire convention, your request must be in writing and received by September 1st. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee. After Sept. 1st, no refunds (registration or teacher fees) will be made. You will need to contact the teacher to pick up your kit or have them mailed to you. Send cancellation requests to Gail Loeser.
Complete the Registration Form – Indicate the class code (day and class number) plus the teacher’s last name for each class choice. Example: TH01 Nazarenko. List classes in order of preference. Include up to three choices for each day you plan to attend. Do not list any classes you are not willing to take. Making only one choice will not guarantee you a space in that class. When selecting your baskets, please consider the skill level, size of basket, time allowed, and skills to be learned. Use the guidelines for class skill levels. Please check the project sizes carefully before making your choices. Projects can be either much larger or much smaller than they appear in the photograph. Registration does not guarantee placement in requested classes. Some classes may fill; others may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
