Jan has been teaching weaving baskets for over 25 years. She has taught at NCBA, GBA, Guilders Weave, KBA, Bluegrass, MBO, Odyssey, Oklahoma, Stateline, Stowe and TBA conventions, seminars and for her local Port City Guild. She loves to stimulate the interest of basket weaving and sharing tips with others while also learning new tips from her students. She considers herself a non-traditional Nantucket weaver as she finds common things to use as molds for classes and usually incorporates a twill weave into the baskets.
