After returning back to my home town, I started learning basketry for my Aunt Barbara Boone who learned to weave from her sister. Once learning about other basket retreats and conventions in Kentucky and other states, I began traveling to learn from other teachers that could show me a variety of techniques. I fell in love and found what gives me peace and the best therapy and weaving with new and old friends. This is what I want to share by weaving with others and groups. I don't consider myself a teacher but someone that wants to share the love of weaving. Weaving not only baskets but also friendships.
