Diane Frankenfield

Picture
My name is Diane Frankenfield, I live in Belews Creek, NC. I learned to weave baskets in 1992, starting with the egg basket. Next was the woven bottom, then onto wooden bases. I did not want a plain wooden base, so after I learned to do dot mandala on rocks, I thought, why not, so the dotting began on the wooden base. When I’m not dotting or weaving, you can find me playing with gourds or quilting. Diane is an experienced teacher, she has taught quilting for 22 years, basketing making for 14 years and gourd art for 11 years.
